About the project:

The Polygon Loft applied heavy optimisation to the AI in OGRE. We managed to resolve soft locks when the AI was processing it strategy at the start of its turn. We also enabled the AI to place units down in real-time, instead of calculating its entire strategy and then placing all units down at once. This provided a much more natural experience for the player, mimicking how a real life opponent would play the game.

We then helped to port the game to The Last Gameboard, a smart table. We developed a dynamic UI system that would flip UI elements when the turns change between players.
